Cultures Without Borders Keynote Event

Thursday, January 27, 2022 at 5:30pm to 8:00pm

Jacobs Science Building, JSB Atrium

This keynote event will feature two back-to-back panels related to the content of the Passport to the World: Cultures without Borders programming in the College of Arts & Sciences. These panels represent two sides of the same coin – on the one hand, we’ll have immigrants, refugees, asylum seekers, or any people who are in Kentucky, but align themselves in their identities with some nation-state to talk about their experiences, and on the other, we’ll have a panel devoted to the experiences of people around the world who do not necessarily identify with any specific nation-state but find themselves still in a complicated situation with respect to belonging.
