Faculty & Staff Chinese New Year Celebration

 The University of Kentucky Confucius Institute (UKCI) invites all faculty & staff to welcome the Year of the Pig at its fifth annual Chinese New Year Celebration 5:30-8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 6, at the Hilary J. Boone Center.

The evening will include President Eli Capilouto's remarks, a festive meal, cultural activities and music performances of Chinese folk music by the Zhou Family Band. Attendees also will be able to learn about China-related opportunities for faculty and how UKCI supports the university.

There will be prize drawings and participants will receive a red envelope, which symbolizes good luck and is a common gift for the annual celebration.
