This second University of Kentucky Fulbright Visiting Scholar Enrichment Seminar on the theme "Combating Addiction" is one of four such multi-disciplinary symposia being sponsored and funded by the U.S. Department of State and administered by UKIC International Partnerships and Research, in collaboration with the Institute of International Education (IIE). The three-day event will bring approximately 80 Fulbright Scholars from around the world to the UK campus to explore addiction and substance use disorder as a global health challenge, and highlight UK faculty's innovative research, education, healthcare services and community engagement efforts to combat addiction across the Commonwealth and beyond. Keynote addresses and select other sessions will be open to the campus and community without charge.
