Join the Wildcats Ruck Club for a Social Ruck! Simply bring your backpack with around 20 lbs worth of weight inside, and walk with us at a chill easy pace. This is an incredible way to get in exercise, meet new friends from campus, burn extra calories from winter outdoor walking, and learn about the health benefits of rucking. What is rucking? Rucking is simply the act of walking with a weighted backpack on (if you're a student, you already do it!). Learn more here: walk 3-4 miles, and we meet rain, snow or shine (with the exception of severe weather such as thunderstorms or dangerous icing conditions).To find out how much your backpack weighs, weigh on a body scale with and without your backpack then calculate the difference.
